Gardena Elks Lodge #1919 sits on West 162nd Street and has been one of the South Bay's most consistently active fraternal organizations for over a century. With a 4.6-star rating backed by nearly 100 reviews, the lodge earns that reputation the old-fashioned way: clean facilities, ample parking, a welcoming bar, and a calendar packed with something for every member.

The lodge hosts everything from coin shows and private celebrations to community fundraisers and member appreciation nights. Visitors consistently note the professionalism of the staff, the friendliness of the security team, and the genuine sense of belonging that greets you at the door. This is not a dusty clubhouse collecting cobwebs. It is a living, breathing gathering place where Gardena neighbors show up, get involved, and stay connected.

Membership at Lodge #1919 unlocks access to the full facility, including event halls ideal for private parties, a well-stocked bar, and a brotherhood that takes its charitable mission seriously. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has served American communities since 1868, and this Gardena chapter carries that legacy forward with real energy.

Beyond private rentals, Lodge #1919 hosts a rotating schedule of community events including collector shows, member socials, and charitable programs tied to the Elks National Foundation. "A membership is required to enjoy the facility, and it is well worth it as Gardena Lodge 1919 is one of the best! This is a very active lodge full of activities for all members as well as providing services to Elks and their families, the community, and our veterans. Weekly bingo, bunco, line dancing, bowling league, bus trips, theme parties, family events and more. The food is outstanding. For a very reasonable price (guests pay more), members enjoy monthly brunch, Hamburger Tuesday, Wednesday Dinner, and Friday Fish Fry including raffles and a live band or DJ and dancing. Full bar open daily. All members are welcome to serve on committees. If you're looking for a safe and fun place to have a good time and be a part of your community, this is it!"

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
